Therapy for Children and Teens
Being a youngster nowadays is difficult, and we get that!

How do I know if this is the right decision for my child?
We understand as parents you're tasked with the hefty responsibility of rearing your youngsters into confident and competent individuals. Throughout each stage of development their growing minds have the responsibility of testing boundaries to create an understanding of the world around them and how they fit in it. We believe the compassionate relationship that is built between a therapist and client can create a safe, trusting environment which allows for youngsters to thrive as they grow and build confidence throughout some of the toughest stages.

Play therapy
Play therapy is different than talk therapy in that children are able to "play out" their emotions, process past experiences, and develop coping mechanisms in a way that feels natural and enjoyable for them. In this process, adults create an environment to help youngsters build essential social, emotional, and behavioral skills.

Skill building / Education
Children and teens will gain a developmentally appropriate understanding of their brains and bodies, building confidence as they engage with the world around them. Through compassionate conversations, they will strengthen their emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and self-awareness.

Support to Caregivers
We understand that having a child who is struggling can take a toll on any caregiver. We see parents as vital partners in a child’s success, both in and outside the therapy room. By providing guidance on best parenting practices, we aim to foster positive outcomes for all children. Our approach is gentle and collaborative, supporting you through each phase of your child’s growth and development
